Title IX Compliance at Chesapeake College
In compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, Chesapeake College strictly prohibits all forms of sexual and gender-based harassment and discrimination. This includes, but is not limited to, sexual violence, sexual harassment, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. These policies apply to conduct occurring on Chesapeake College property, during College-sanctioned events or programs, including off-campus activities like trips or internships.
Our Commitment
Chesapeake College is dedicated to addressing any reported incidents of sexual harassment or discrimination, working to prevent their reoccurrence, and remedying any impacts. We also enforce a strict prohibition against any form of retaliation against individuals involved in the reporting or investigation process, including complainants, respondents, witnesses, and investigators.
