We are excited to meet and welcome you as a member of the Skipjack Family! New Student Orientation (NSO) is one the first steps in beginning your academic journey at Chesapeake College. To insure that you are comfortable and prepared before the semester begins, please join us for our two-part experience.
Part I: Online New Student Orientation
You can access the online NSO experience any time on your PC or mobile device. Part I of our experience provides an in-depth overview of the College’s services, resources, support systems, and other opportunities. This should take approximately 45 minutes to complete; however you can stop and re-start the orientation session at any time.
Once you complete the registration form below, you will automatically receive an email that includes the link to the online NSO from the Office of Student Engagement and Development. If you did not receive an email, please check your Spam/Junk folders prior to reaching out to newstudentorientation@chesapeake.edu.
Part II: In-Person New Student Orientation
Join us for our on-campus NSO fun-filled kick off to the semester by registering below! Our in-person session will provide all students and their families with more detailed information about the college, including:
- Meeting College Staff/Faculty
- Buying your textbooks
- Signing up for services, resources, support programs, and First-Year Experience activities
- Meeting fellow new Skipjacks
- Enjoying good food, games, and, of course, winning prizes and other giveaways!
