MyCampus Our Portal ( Logon )

Login Name: Your first name and last name, no spaces, all lower case. Unsure of your username? Check your username.

Password: First initial of first name (capitalized), first initial of last name (capitalized), last four of your SSN, and cc. For example, if your name was John Smith, and your last four were 3456, your MyCampus password would be JS3456cc.
When you sign in to the portal the first time, you will be prompted to answer three security questions that will be used when you need to reset your password or have forgotten your password. Your password must be at least 8 characters in length, contain an uppercase character (A - Z) and a lowercase character (a - z) and contain at least one number (0 - 9) or a special character (!, $, #, or %).
Once the questions have been answered, you can reset your password. To reset your password, enter your new password in the New Password field. Re-enter the new password in the Verify New Password field. Click OK and your portal homepage should be displayed.
Self Service, Our Student Information System
The only way to get to Self Service is through the portal. Self Service is where you get registration information, pay for classes, accept financial aid, and check official grades. When using Self Service from the MyCampus portal for the first time you'll be prompted for your username and password.

Canvas Your Course Content
Canvas is accessed from the MyCampus portal - no extra password is needed.
Please note: If you've been going directly to Canvas, you will now be redirected to the myCampus login screen. Just login using your myCampus password, and you'll go to Canvas.

Skipjack Mail Your Chesapeake College Email Account
You can get to Skipjack mail through the portal - no extra login needed.
If you are on a public computer, please be sure to sign out when you are finished with your Skipjack mail.

Basic recommendation for all students (WINDOWS)
- Processor: Intel i5 or better
- Memory: 8GB or more
- Storage: 256GB or more, a SSD (Solid State Drive) is best but not required
- Peripherals: Webcam
- OS: Windows 10 Home or Professional
- Productivity Software: Office365 (Available for Free to ALL Chesapeake students)
For those students in programs that might require more advanced technology like CAD, graphic design, etc.
- Processor: Intel i7 or better
- Memory: 16GB or more
- Storage: 1TB or more, a SSD (Solid State Drive) is best but not required
- Peripherals: Webcam, Advanced Graphics with GPU
- OS: Windows 10 Home or Professional
- Productivity Software: Office365 (Available for Free to ALL Chesapeake students)
