The Corner of Care is Chesapeake College’s anonymous food pantry, dedicated to ensuring that no student goes without essential resources. Located on the second floor of the Caroline Center and through the main office of the Cambridge Center, the Corner of Care is a vital resource for currently enrolled students, offering a wide range of items at no cost.

What We Offer

In partnership with the Maryland Food Bank, the Corner of Care provides a fully stocked pantry that includes fresh, frozen, and dried foods, ready-to-eat meals, snacks, cleaning supplies, toiletries, and more. In addition to the main pantry locations, we’ve established free snack stations in most buildings across campus, so students can easily grab a quick snack between classes. For those in need of additional support, gas cards and care packages are also available for quick pickup.

Several times throughout the academic year, you can find the Maryland Food Bank’s Mobile Market on campus as well. Check the events calendar for upcoming dates and times.

How You Can Help

The Corner of Care relies on the generosity of our community to keep our shelves and snack stations stocked. If you’re interested in supporting our students, there are several ways to help:

  • Donate Items: We accept non-perishable foods, toiletries, and cleaning supplies. Please contact us to arrange a drop-off.
  • Monetary Donations: Your financial contributions help us purchase fresh and frozen foods, gas cards, and other essentials for our students.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of our students, ensuring they have the resources they need to succeed.
