THE COMMUNITY INTERPRETER® INTERNATIONAL I
The Community Interpreter International I Course will prepare students to facilitate meaningful communication between service providers and Limited English Proficient members of the community. Topics to be covered include: certificate program requirements, language proficiency test preparation, introduction to community interpreting, ethical principles and standards, and protocols and skills for community interpreting. Students must register for both CEX 812 9A and CEX 813 9A at the same time – these courses are linked with payment in CEX 812 only. Textbooks and testing are included. Financial assistance may be available through the Workforce Development Sequence Scholarship. Contact [email protected] for more information.
Course Fee: $850 (Includes Part I & Part II classes, textbook, and testing fees.)

Students must register for both CEX 812 9A and CEX 813 9A at the same time – these courses are linked with payment in CEX 812 only. Textbooks and testing are included.
