Launch a Career on the Water

Hands-On Training for Marine Industry Careers
The Marine Service Technician Program prepares students to install, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of marine equipment. With training in our dedicated marine labs, students gain practical skills for certifications with Yamaha, MEI, and ABYC, making them job-ready for the marine service industry.

Or, if you would like to begin a business as a charter boat captain, you may need to earn your professional captain license or upgrade to a Master level license.

Amateur boaters can also benefit from courses on the basics of servicing boat engines and boater safety.

You will learn hands-on in marine labs, and gain the skills and knowledge to prepare for certification exams from the National Marine Electronics Association. Professional captain and boater safety courses are approved by the U.S. Coast Guard.

These courses are designed for students who want to pursue a professional career in the marine trades. However, amateur boaters may also take these classes to learn how to care for boat engines themselves, as well as important safety topics.

If no classes are listed, then courses are not being offered at this time. Please check back frequently as classes are added often. For more information, contact [email protected].
