Gain Real Intelligence in Computer Technology

Artificial intelligence, security, database systems, programming, and software engineering are all examples of topics that computer scientists grapple with every day. As technology continues to change our world, experts in computer science are needed to solve complex problems and help humans and computers interact in productive and meaningful ways.

Perhaps you are more interested in theoretical issues, like understanding the possibilities of artificial intelligence, or more practical applications, like designing software that is easy to use and understand. Computer scientists dive deeply into these issues and more, and are a critical part of the workforce helping move technology forward in positive ways.

This program will provide you with foundational knowledge in the field of computer science technology, such as hardware, software, and programming. You may customize your electives to focus on the areas that interest you the most. From here, you could begin a career in an entry-level computer science technology or IT role, or transfer to a four-year college or university to earn a bachelor’s degree in a related field.

The computer science technology A.A.S. degree program is for students who:

  • Want to understand the basics of computer science technology to prepare for a career
