  • 18 years of age
  • A passing score (70%) on MBON and math/reading assessments (not Accuplacer). These tests will be taken during the first class session.
  • Standard open registration.

This 20-hour (one weekend) course qualifies you with the Maryland Board of Nursing as a Certified Medication Technician.

Next Class

This continuing education course is designed to prepare students to work within an assisted living facility and provides instruction on how to administer medication to residents. Topics include the process for administration of medication, reporting and recording, pharmacy labels, physician orders, storage, and medication safety. This 20-hour (one weekend) course qualifies you with the Maryland Board of Nursing as a Certified Medication Technician.
