Move Ahead in Your Accounting Career

Are you working as an accountant, or in a related field, and want to increase your expertise to prepare for a promotion or additional certification? Or, do you have a degree in another field and want to make a shift in your career?

Accounting professionals are needed in almost every industry, from small businesses or nonprofits to large corporations. Accountants work in fields as varied as healthcare, technology, or the arts. Increasing your knowledge of accounting practices and theories can set you apart as a valued and vital member of any team. Or, you can add to the skills you already have to move into a more advanced role.

If you already have a bachelor’s degree in another field, this certificate can provide you with the educational requirements needed to qualify for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam.

The Accounting Advanced Certificate program is for students who:

  • Want to qualify for the CPA exam by earning the required academic credits
  • Want to increase knowledge of advance accounting principles and practices
  • Want to earn a credential that demonstrate their expertise and knowledge of accounting
  • Important: This program is NOT for students who do not have prior accounting experience or education, or for those who wish to transfer to earn a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Please speak to an advisor if this is your goal
