At Chesapeake College, we offer several payment options to help you manage your tuition and fees in a way that best suits your financial situation. Whether you’re paying upfront, setting up a payment plan, or utilizing employer sponsorship, we’ve got you covered. Explore the options below to find what works best for you.

Payment Due Dates

Don’t get stuck with a large, surprise balance—or miss out on your classes!

The College has a pre-registration period for each semester. During this time you may pre-register for classes without paying your balance in full. However, in order to secure your selected class schedule, the balance on your tuition and fees must be paid by the stated pay-by date for each semester.

If the balance is not paid by the stated pay-by date, the College will delete your registration from your selected class schedule. After the semester pay-by date, a student may register and payment is expected within one business day. If payment is not received by the stated time, the college will delete your registration.

Automatic Payment Plan

The Automatic Payment Plan allows you to spread your tuition payments over several months, making it easier to manage your finances.

Payments are processed on the 5th of each month and will continue until the balance is paid in full. You must have a minimum balance of $100.00 to budget through the automatic payment plan.

Payment Policies

Tuition and fee payments have due dates based upon when you register for the semester. Students with unpaid bills beyond the due date are subject to cancellation by the College. The balance must be paid in full by the due date to avoid cancellation of your entire schedule. You are responsible for withdrawing from each course if you do not plan to attend.

The College reserves the right to revise the tuition and fee structure without prior notice.

Availability of ACI Payment plans are determined by Chesapeake College. Please be aware the college may elect not to have payment plans available during specific terms or during times and dates of registration.

Please note that your balance will automatically be adjusted if financial aid is received or a class is dropped or added. However, the Business office reserves the right to make adjustments as necessary.
