The Office of Academic Assessment at Chesapeake College provides comprehensive support for all assessment initiatives, ensuring that faculty and staff have the resources they need to conduct meaningful assessments. Through training, documentation, and access to specialized tools, we help maintain a robust culture of continuous improvement.
Support for Faculty
The Director of Academic Assessment offers ongoing resources and training opportunities to help faculty engage in effective assessment practices. Whether it’s designing assessments, interpreting data, or implementing improvements, faculty can rely on guidance and support throughout the assessment process.
Assessment Tools
All Academic Program Review and Course-Level Assessment documentation is submitted electronically and managed through Nuventive, an assessment software product licensed by Chesapeake College. Nuventive provides a centralized location for storing, tracking, and analyzing assessment data, ensuring that all academic units have access to the information they need to improve student learning outcomes.
