Chesapeake college and the ESHEC are closed today. All classes and activities are cancelled. The college and the ESHEC will be closed Tuesday, 2/9/10.
Public Invited to Black History Month Breakfast at Chesapeake
To celebrate Black History Month and raise money for a scholarship fund, the Chesapeake College Multicultural Advisory Committee (MAC) is hosting the 11th annual community breakfast on Saturday, Feb. 13 in the Chesapeake College Caroline College Center at 8:30 a.m. The event is open to members of the public.
Swine Flu Information
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has developed a Swine Flu website (http://www.cdc.gov/swineflu) with the latest information and everyday actions people can take to stay healthy. In addition, Dr. Viniar has issued a Message from the President concerning steps the college has taken and advice for employees and students on preventing the spread of flu.
Cambridge Center Flu Vaccinations Monday, Feb. 8, 9:30 - 11:00 am and Tuesday, Feb. 9, 1:00 - 3:00 pm
H1N1 flu shot and flu mist vaccinations, as well as seasonal flu vaccine.Free for students, staff and faculty. Pneumonia Vaccination is also FREE for anyone with a chronic health condition or who smokes.
